The Walk of Hearts® plaque incorporates symbolic and meaningful elements that represents all aspects of a teacher’s influence. Two quill pens interlock to form an open heart to embody a teacher’s love and knowledge flowing out and a child’s sense of self and personal growth flowing from within. A traditional apple completes the design of the plaque as a way of showing gratitude and admiration from parents, students and the community.
